Great movie!

This is one of the best natural disaster movies out there!Violence: if you daughter or son has watched deep impact or 2012 they sould be able to watch this it does not surprisingly show people die only see them trying to escape. I mean ya if you are a karen im sure you can say people died because you see buildings falling but that is fine.Language: The language in this is average for all movies now there is 1 f bomb and 8 swords 2 G--Damnit and that is the worst.Thank you for reading my review i hope you enjoyed it.

Two needless G-ds and 1 pointless F bomb - why do they do that???

We watch most super hero movies with our 12 year old son (no Dead Pool) and many action and/or disaster movies. We decided to give this a try. The violence wasn't any worse than any of the other movies we saw, only perpetrated by Mother Nature instead of man. I will never understand why the makers of these movies don't leave the "biggies" out of the script. Honestly, there is no reason "s#8t" or any other "mild" expletive could have been used instead, if they really felt one was needed. There were other mild swears, but only those 3 biggies. No sex/nudity. People putting others first. Kids using intellect to save themselves.

HORRIBLE!!! MEGA QUAKE IS BETTER

A movie that is a rip off (of Mega Quake) show a lot of serious danger, and death. And this movie delivers. There is a lot of terrible thingssthat happen not pleasant, and sometimes disturbing. Mega Quake is a lot better and more suitable then this disgrace.

HORRIBLE!!! INAPROPIRATE AND MEGA QUAKE IS BETTER

This is an absolute rip-off of the San Andreas Mega Quake which is the best action film, unlike this disgusting disgrace. Don't even bother just get Mega Quake. And this film is also really inappropriate.

not to bad but a bit violent

I saw this movie with my son and his friend it had a lot of disaster themes and deaths in it but the deaths were not graphic or gory it was mainly just people being crushed or drowning there is mild and infrequent coarse language.

Amazing, but for people who can stomach it.

My kids, 11 and 14, loved this movie. My eleven year old, though, cried in the scene where two old people hug each other right when the tsunami is coming. But she was fine after we reassured her it was just a movie. It's not very suitable for elementary school kids, though, middle school age 6th and up should be fine. Although the fires and things are very violent, it's still such an interesting movie, plus another plus is the little sexuality. The boy who met Blake or Blaire whatever her name is didn't look at her like he wanted to rip all of her clothes off and rape her. The Rock, of course, is amazing as usual. By the way, when I put down too much violence, I don't mean there's too much, just a lot.

Very action packed, a little predictable.

All and all I like it a lot. Yes, there was death, but no needless gore. There was however a very needless F word. I personally am so sick and tired of the F word being used NEEDLESSLY in PG-13 movies. Take that F word out and it would have been a perfectly fine PG-13 movie.
